When Should I Come?

What Do I Do?

Have the "fishing trip of a lifetime". Basically, you look after yourself, it's that simple. That's right, you go fishing when you want to, look after your own meals, clean your own fish and look after your own gear.


What Is Supplied?

We fly you from Silver Falls, Manitoba by float plane to Gammon River East Outcamp  . Also we supply the cabin, 14 foot aluminum boats with 9.9 Mercs, fuel, life jackets, landing nets, axe, bow saw, cooking grill, frying pans, pots, coffee pot, dishes, cups, utensils, propane BBQ, stove, fridge, freezer & solar lighting throughout.


What Do I Bring?
bullet Fishing gear, (Fishing licenses are required for both Manitoba and Ontario )
bullet Food & drink for your stay
bullet Refreshments
bullet Warm sleeping bag
bullet Change of suitable clothing; warm jacket, rain wear, wet weather footwear, hat and gloves, clothes for all weather
bullet Personal items; sunglasses, sun screen, insect repellent, mosquito coils, matches, suntan lotion, flashlight, camera, soap, washcloth and towel and toiletries


Accidents & Emergencies?

Our camp is supplied with First Aid Kits and a phone for communication. 


How Do I Get There?

It's easy, just drive to Silver Falls, MB (75 miles North of Winnipeg.) This is our departure point for a "fishing trip of a lifetime".

Fly - Winnipeg is serviced daily by Jazz, North West & Air Canada.

  • Gammon River East Outcamp is located north of Bisset, Manitoba.  You will be fishing in Carroll Lake in Ontario as well as the Gammon River in Manitoba.  You will require both provincial fishing licenses.

  • The float plane base is located in Silver Falls, Manitoba, 75 miles north of Winnipeg.  This base is operated by Blue Water Aviation.  

(50 pounds of baggage per person)

Important

FOR YOUR SAFETY, please keep in mind when packing for air travel, baggage must be kept to a minimum. This can be easily achieved by planning for the trip and avoiding and unnecessary items. If extra flights are required, regular charter rates will be applied. All garbage must be taken out of camp on your return trip. We ask that our clients be environmentally conscious.

"Gammon River East" promotes barbless hooks.  PLEASE BE ADVISED, MAX WEIGHT PER PERSON IS 50 LBS.
